Newborn sessions are available at our light-filled Louisville KY studio, and book well in advance. Babies and their families have been our main focus for the last 16 years!

Newborn
Most families book two - four sessions for their baby's first year, and choose from:
-maternity
-newborn
-6-8 month milestone
-first birthday milestone
One session is confirmed on
my calendar with a
$200 session fee,
two with $300,
and three with $400.
Then, comes the fun part!
A few weeks after each session, you'll join me online or at the studio for an ordering appointment, where you'll purchase your favorite Image Collection.
My Four Newborn Image Collection options include a variety of digital images and the most beautiful artwork you've ever seen.

Your session day
Your job that day is simple. I want you to enjoy time loving on your family, because that’s what you really want to document and look back on years down the road.
If you use my hair and makeup artist, while you're being pampered, I'll have the studio cleaned and wardrobe prepped and ready for your arrival.
Seeing your images for the first time is REALLY exciting! A few weeks after your session, join me for a custom ordering appointment (online or at the studio), where you'll view album designs I've created just for you, we can create wall galleries designed for your home, and of course we can choose your favorite digital images.
Four Newborn Image Collections and two Maternity and Milestone Image Collections are available for purchase.

When Should I book newborn Pictures?
It's never too early to reach out! Most families contact us in their 1st or 2nd trimester and book maternity and newborn. With 16 years of photographing babies and mamas, we tend to stay booked a few months out. We do our very best to work in last minute requests.
When do newborn Sessions take Place?
Are parents included?
Most sessions are photographed within the first three weeks of your baby's arrival. Before you leave the hospital, we will match up calendars and secure your session date on our calendar. Will you be tired? Yes, and that's totally okay. We welcome all the tired moms and dads. I might even sneak in lunch for you, so that it feels a little like a first date after having your baby.
Yes! My favorite baby images are those with my parents. Our children's favorite baby images are those with Jason and me holding them. One day these will be your children's favorites too. And that's why a good portion of your images will be family-focused with you snuggling your baby. They will tell the story of how much you loved from day one.
I can also walk you through how we include siblings.
We keep pricing easy! Book your sessions with a session fee. Purchase an image collection after each session. We have two maternity, four newborn, and two milestone image collections to choose from.
How does pricing work?
What should my baby wear?
Absolutely! Our most popular Newborn Image Collections are the Heirloom and the Legacy Collection, because they include newborn digitals and your choice or album or wall art. Full pricing details are in our Art Guide that we email before booking.
Can You design an album or wall gallery?
To keep your images classic, we like to stick with ivory wraps and simple white onsies. We keep them stock at the studio along with dainty bows for girls. Our goal is to photograph all the amazing newness of this tiny human you love versus your baby stuck in prop a, b, or c. Keeping it simple also keeps your baby much more content.
