Fall in Louisville is magical, especially for kids! With vibrant leaves, crisp air, and loads of fun activities, there’s no shortage of ways to enjoy the season. You could spend hours going down the Google rabbit hole. Let me save you some time. Here’s a guide to some of the best 2024 Louisville fall activities for kids that you won’t want to miss, based on recommendations from clients at the studio!

What’s fall without a trip to a pumpkin patch or a fun pumpkin event? Whether is a trip to a local farm or to the Jack O’lantern Spectacular, it’s a great way to spend time outdoors and get into the fall spirit!

Trick or Treating for Special Needs Families

  • Mt Washington Ky – Southeast Christian Church Bullitt County, October 18, details here.
  • FEAT of Louisville and Park Community Credit Union, October 20th. Sensory friendly hours from 1-3, details here.

Trick or Treating Events

  • Boo at the Zoo, it’s eveyone’s favorite and runs Thursday-Sunday nights through October 27th at the Louisville Zoo, details here.
  • Halloween at Brown Park, October 19th, details here.
  • Sauerback Driven-in, October 19th, details here.
  • Okolona Christian, October 19th.
  • Turner’s Halloween Festival, October 19th, details here.
  • Middletown Christian Church, October 20th, details here.
  • Slugger Field, October 25th and includes a costume contest and screening of Hotel Transylvania, details here.
  • Many local high schools offer trick or treating for the littles such as Bullitt East and Mercy Academy’s Halloween in the Halls events. Most schools have a Facebook page with upcoming events.
