Louisville KY Newborn Photographer | 12 Years They Waited
Over the last 11 years, there have been portraits from sessions that have stopped me in my tracks. Today, this portrait is it.
You see this family waited 12 years for their baby. Twelve years of anticipation, peaks, valleys, weary souls, and hope. So when I asked this little one’s daddy to scoop her up and turn her slightly towards me, I noticed that her little hand was on his hand.
With a few detailed adjustments with placement and light, this was the final result.
I’ve been friends with this newborn’s momma since we were young children ourselves. To see her finally have what her heart has longed for gives my heart pure joy.
There’s plenty more to share, but since it’s so very close to Christmas I don’t want to ruin any surprises.
