When Lisa asked me about maternity portraits, I wanted to do backflips. You see, Lisa and I met at school many, many moons ago. We had a similar group of friends through those tough middle and high school years, when having a good friend was important. The one thing that always stood out to me about Lisa was her true beauty. Not only did she turn heads, she was ALWAYS kind. ALWAYS sincere. ALWAYS thoughtful. ALWAYS truthful. ALWAYS a friend.
Since this is her last little one, these days and moments are extra special. It’s the beginning of a new chapter while also closing another. The joy of feeling baby kicks, yet knowing you’ll never experience this again. For those of you who’ve had little ones, you know the excitement of waiting for the first time you get to hold them and study their details. The first time you get to whisper I love yous and promises to protect and care for them always.
