Ashley contacted our Louisville KY studio just a few weeks ago wanting to find out a little more more about reserving a maternity and newborn session. We hopped on the phone the same day and helped answer all of her questions and walked her through exactly what what we would do for her family each step of the way. We also listen to her wants of relaxed, light, airy, natural portraits for this really special time in her family’s story.
We knew scheduling would be tricky during her last few weeks of pregnancy, but we made it happen (working a little scheduling magic between days of rain and impossibly cold temps). Often mamas will wait to contact us when things have “greened” up here in Kentucky, but I promise two things: (1) the golden tones of the fields in March and late fall are pretty amazing, and (2) don’t wait until things green up to reserve a session, we usually book sessions 10+ weeks in advance and it will be too late.
Ashley wanted a mixture of images wearing one of her own maternity dresses, which showed of her baby bump perfectly and something from our wardrobe collection as well. Done! We can take care of that.
I’m so excited to meet their new little love in just a few weeks for their newborn session at our St Mattews KY studio.
