Karissa contacted us during her second trimester and booked her maternity and newborn portrait sessions. Most families book their maternity and newborn sessions at the same time so that they guarantee a spot on our calendar. We immediately began planning for what to wear for both sessions and put her in touch with our amazing hair and makeup artist.
One of the best parts of photographing maternity sessions is seeing dads become the ultimate hype person for their wives. I love seeing the admiration he has for the woman he dearly loves. And I love when a woman’s confident grows knowing she is supported and cared for. Most of all, I love that one day their child see how much their parents love each other.

Due within the next few months? I’m glad you’re here. Parents typically reserve newborn sessions in their second trimester, so that we can photograph all of your baby’s fresh, new details in their 2nd-3rd weeks of life.
Maternity photo sessions are best photographed between weeks 28-35.
